One thing that makes me different from a lot of Nigerians, and everyone around me, is that I'm a comic book reader.
I read Marvel, DC, Image, Top Cow, and plenty of Mangas. In terms of what I like most to least it goes from this order (reason within the list):
DC and WS/Vertigo - I've been a fan since the Prelude to Infinite Crisis (okay, Graduation Day to be exact). I've read so much back story that I completely understand Pre-Crisis, post-Crisis, post-IC, and post-52 history. It's my favorite company because it doesn't pretend it's "realistic". They understand their audiences and cater their stories to them, as well as try to gain new readers. They respect the history of it's characters and continue to move foward in their story lines. 52 was one of my favorite comic book stories from this era.
Favorite Male characters - Eradicator, The Green Lantern Corps (counts as both male and female), Nightwing, Jack Knight, Mr. Terrific, Wesley Dodds, Jay Garrick, and Captain Marvel
Female Characters - Powergirl, Manhunter (Kate Spencer)
Favorite non-52/Countdown title - Justice Society of America and Justice
Marvel - I have a bone to pick with Marvel. Civil War messed up my pull list badly, and I do not like the new direction they have taken. It feels like they are about to destroy the Ultimate Universe, so they want to take whatever they like from that universe, and adapt it to the regular (616) universe. Namely, the amount of power SHIELD has over the Superhero community. It no longer feels like superheroics, it feels like I'm reading about an army of shady "heroes", and full-on villains. Not to mention, my favorite character has been killed recently, so I'm pretty ticked off.
I don't read the X-titles besides X-Factor and Astonishing, which are great. I only read Amazing Spider-Man when talking about the Spidey-titles.
Favorite Male characters - Black Panther, Captain America, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Spider-Man, (formerly) Iron Man, Beta Ray Bill
Female - Black Cat, Jean Grey, Magick, (formerly) Ms. Marvel, Shadowcat.
Titles - Captain America, Immortal Iron Fist, New Avengers
Villains - The Wrecking Crew, Bullseye, MODOK
I'm Anti-Reg, by the way. The Initiative was made to be broken, with Hulk or without him.
Manga - I read Berserk, Naruto, Bleach, Akira (still reading it), and Blade of the Immortal. Life is good.
Favorite character - Nosferatu Zodd
Image - I only read Spawn, Invinicible, The Walking Dead, and the TMNT titles. I really only like Invinicible and WD.
Top Cow - I hate the majority of the line, but I still read Witchblade, and my favorite character in the line, The Darkness.
Overall, comics is my second hobby, but I love it just as much.

About Video Games.
Hey, welcome to my blog! Here's my background on video games:
I've been playing video games since I was three, and the first game that I played was Super Mario 1. I beat it with plenty of help from my older brother (5 years older).
Since then, I've had a Nintendo, SNES, Genesis, Game boy, GBA, GBC, GBSP, GBDS, Sega CD, PS, N64, XBOX, PS2, a whole bunch of emulators, XB360, and a Nintendo Wii (which counts as a Gamecube as well).
I'm a fighting game buff, but I play all genres. I'm planning on getting a major on Computer Science (or Programming, either one).
I really love video games, but there is one thing I want established: Although it's a great innovation, I don't want motion sensing controllers to take over the market. It's an awesome alternative, but it should only be an alternative. This is because of how limiting it is in terms of games. Some of my favorite genres would never fit with motion sensing controls.
Real Time Strategy
Vertical shooters like Ikaruga and Horizontal shooters like R-Type
Fighting Games in general
2d games for the most part, especially games like Gunstar Heroes and Contra
I want these types of games to continue to exist, and for that to happen, motion sensing controls like the Wii-mote can't become the standard. That's why I used my 360 most of the time, or my PC.
